The Challenge
The existing kitchen was located in a dark part of the house with poor light quality following a previous rear extension. The plan agreed on was to relocate the kitchen to a currently underutilised space to create a large open plan kitchen/dining/living space with direct access to the garden through a new set of triple track sliding doors which was created with the insertion of a large steel on the rear elevation. The existing snug, WC and utility off the new kitchen/dining space were updated as part of the works.
The Solution
By relocating the kitchen into an underutilised space & renovating their existing extension we were able to create a connected kitchen/dining/living space with a seamless transition into the garden. The existing extension had been poorly constructed by the previous owner so as part of the renovation this was brought up to current building regulations requirements. A traditional kitchen was designed, manufactured and installed along with all the supporting works.
