The Brief

Whole house renovation in the Cotswolds

The clients came to us having lived in the purchased a 1970’s bungalow with no vehicle access wanting to create a contemporary Cotswold 5-bedroom home. We guided them through layout options which included a full planning application. On acceptance of the planning submission we complete 2 extensions & the addition of a second storey to the main bungalow.

The Challenge

The site had no access for machinery initially so new retaining walls were constructed along with a new vehicular access. On completion of these works the house including its 2 new extensions were constructed including the addition of a Cotswold stone roof.

The Solution

Only small sections of the original bungalow were retained which allowed for seamless layout to be created which incorporated all the elements the client wanted in their new home. A bespoke kitchen was designed, manufactured and installed along with several other bespoke pieces of furniture to give the house a clean contemporary feel whilst retaining a sense of Cotswold charm. The gardens were designed and landscaped as part of the project build.
